We're All Wonders
In a cozy and colorful bedroom, filled with glowing stars on the ceiling and stacks of picture books, young Auggie sat on his bed, deep in thought. His dog, Daisy, lay by his feet, her head resting on her paws, gazing up with adoration. Auggie didn't look like other kids, and he knew it. But he also knew he was a wonder, just like everyone else. He rubbed Daisy's head and sighed. "Daisy, sometimes I feel like I'm from another world," he said softly. Daisy blinked, as if to say that she understood completely. That night, as Auggie fell asleep, something magical began to happen. The glow stars on his ceiling shimmered brighter and brighter until they filled the room with a warm, golden light. Auggie felt himself being lifted up, higher and higher, until he found himself floating among the stars. "Wow, Daisy! We're in space!" Auggie exclaimed, looking around in amazement. Daisy floated beside him, her tail wagging eagerly. "Let's go explore!" Auggie said, reaching out to hold Daisy's paw. Together, they floated past glowing planets and twinkling comets. They saw moon colonies and friendly aliens, all smiling and waving at them. Auggie noticed that even though the aliens looked different, they all seemed happy and welcoming. As they drifted further, Auggie and Daisy came upon a colorful planet, shimmering with all the colors of the rainbow. They landed gently and were greeted by creatures of all shapes and sizes, each one more unique than the last. "Hello, friends," Auggie said with a big smile. "I'm Auggie, and this is Daisy. We come in peace." One of the creatures, a bright green being with sparkling eyes, stepped forward. "Welcome, Auggie and Daisy! We're so glad you're here. We celebrate differences on our planet. Each wonder is special in its own way." Auggie felt a warmth in his heart and looked at Daisy, who seemed to be smiling too. "You know, Daisy," he said, "it doesn't matter where you come from or what you look like. We're all wonders." The creatures cheered and invited Auggie and Daisy to join them in a grand celebration. They danced and played under the glowing trees, sharing stories and giggles, feeling truly at home. When the time came to leave, Auggie waved goodbye to his new friends, promising to remember the special message they had shared. As they floated back through the starry sky and into his bedroom, Auggie's eyes fluttered open. The glow stars dimmed, and everything was back to normal, but Auggie felt a wonderful change in his heart. "Daisy," he whispered, "maybe I am from another world. But it doesn't matter. We're all wonders, and I can't wait to share that with everyone!" Daisy wagged her tail and snuggled closer. From that night on, Auggie carried the magic of that adventure with him, knowing that no matter what, being different was something to celebrate. And just like in his dream, he made new friends and spread the message that we are all wonders, united by our unique, beautiful differences in this big, amazing universe.
