Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
Once upon a time, in a cozy yet slightly eerie kingdom at the edge of a dark forest, there stood a grand castle. Within its high walls and in the tower's warm glow, lived a beautiful queen who longed for a child. One winter's day, as she sat by the window sewing, she pricked her finger, and three drops of blood fell onto the snow. She whispered, "I wish for a daughter with skin as white as snow, lips as red as blood, and hair as black as ebony." Not long after, her wish came true, and she had a daughter who was indeed as beautiful as she had imagined. They named her Snow White. Sadly, the queen passed away shortly after Snow White’s birth, and the king remarried a woman who was very beautiful but also very vain. The new queen possessed a magical talking mirror. Every day, she asked the mirror, "Mirror, mirror, on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?" And each time, the mirror replied, "You are the fairest of them all." This pleased the queen greatly. As the years passed, Snow White grew more and more beautiful, and one day, when the queen asked, "Mirror, mirror, on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?" the mirror replied, "Snow White is the fairest of them all." Filled with jealousy, the queen decided to get rid of Snow White. She ordered a huntsman to take Snow White into the forest and leave her there. But the huntsman, unable to harm the innocent girl, let her go and told her to run far away. Snow White wandered through the dark, eerie forest, feeling scared and alone. As night fell, she stumbled upon a charming little cottage nestled among the trees. Inside, everything was small and perfectly arranged. Exhausted, Snow White climbed into one of the seven tiny beds and fell fast asleep. The cottage belonged to seven dwarfs who worked as miners in the mountains. When they returned home and found Snow White sleeping, they were surprised but decided to let her stay. In the morning, Snow White explained what had happened, and the dwarfs, whose names were Doc, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy, Bashful, Sneezy, and Dopey, invited her to live with them. Snow White and the dwarfs lived happily together, but far away in the castle, the queen, thinking Snow White was gone, again asked her mirror, "Mirror, mirror, on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?" To her horror, the mirror replied, "Snow White, who lives with the seven dwarfs, is the fairest of them all." Ovеrcome with rage, the queen disguised herself as an old peddler woman and visited the dwarfs' cottage. She offered Snow White a poisoned apple. Taking a bite, Snow White fell into a deep, eternal sleep. The dwarfs were heartbroken when they found her, but they couldn't bear to bury her. They placed her in a glass coffin in the forest and kept watch over her. One day, a prince riding through the forest stumbled upon Snow White. Struck by her beauty, he felt sad and leaned down to kiss her. At that moment, the kiss broke the spell, and Snow White awoke! Snow White and the prince returned to the kingdom, where the wicked queen's power was broken, and she was no longer the fairest of them all. Snow White and the prince married and lived happily ever after, often visiting the seven dwarfs, their dear friends who helped protect Snow White when she needed it most. And so, the cozy yet slightly eerie kingdom became a place of joy and laughter, where bravery, friendship, and the magic of true love always triumphed.
