Cinderella
Once upon a time, in a small, cozy village surrounded by whispering forests, there lived a kind and gentle girl named Ella. She had big sparkling eyes and a heart full of dreams. Unfortunately, her life wasn’t easy. After her mother passed away, her father remarried a woman who had two daughters. These new family members were not kind to Ella at all. They made her do all the chores and sleep in a dusty little attic, so everyone called her Cinderella because she was always covered in cinders and ash. One tranquil evening, Cinderella was cleaning up the kitchen when she heard an unexpected announcement echoing through the streets. A royal decree from the palace! The prince was hosting a grand ball and inviting every maiden in the land. Excited whispers filled the air, but Cinderella’s stepsisters laughed at her when she expressed her wish to go. “Why would a dirty cinder girl like you attend the ball?” they sneered. Cinderella sighed but kept her dreams alive in her heart. On the evening of the ball, as her stepmother and stepsisters prepared themselves in glittering gowns, Cinderella felt a deep sadness. "I wish I could go to the ball," she whispered to her little attic, just as a gentle sparkle of light appeared behind a dusty old trunk. To her astonishment, an enchanting fairy godmother emerged from the glow. Her wings shimmered like moonlit leaves, and her smile was warm and kind. “Why are you so sad, dear Cinderella?” the fairy godmother asked. “I wish I could go to the ball, but I have nothing to wear,” Cinderella replied, trying to hold back tears. “Well, my dear, we must make that wish come true!” The fairy godmother waved her sparkling wand. In a swirl of magical light, Cinderella’s ragged clothes transformed into a beautiful gown, and glass slippers appeared on her feet. A pumpkin turned into a magnificent carriage, and mice became horses to pull it. “But remember,” the fairy godmother warned, “the magic will only last until midnight. You must be home before the clock strikes twelve.” Overjoyed, Cinderella climbed into the carriage and arrived at the palace. Inside, everyone gasped at her beauty. The prince, captivated by her charm, asked her to dance. They spun and twirled around the grand ballroom, and Cinderella felt like she was living a dream. But as the clock approached midnight, Cinderella remembered the fairy godmother’s warning. She hurried away, leaving the prince confused. In her haste, she left behind one of her glass slippers. The next day, the prince searched the kingdom for the owner of the glass slipper, visiting every house. Eventually, he arrived at Cinderella’s home. Her stepsisters tried on the slipper, but it didn’t fit. When Cinderella stepped forward, the slipper fit perfectly. “You’re the one I’ve been looking for!” the prince exclaimed joyfully. And so, Cinderella went to the palace, where she and the prince were married. Her new life was filled with happiness and love. Though her stepsisters apologized, Cinderella didn’t forget her kindness and shared her new fortune with them. From that day on, Cinderella’s dreams bloomed into reality, proving that no matter how hard life gets, magic can always find its way to the pure of heart.
