In a small, cozy bedroom at the edge of a quiet forest, young Mila lay in bed. Her room was filled with wonderful treasures—books that told of grand adventures, colorful rugs, and a variety of stuffed animals. Yet, it held a single, curious object that often gave her chills—a small, old birdcage hanging near the window. "Thank you, brave Mila," the parakeet said, slowly transforming into a majestic bird with dazzling plumage. "The forest and all who live within it are now safe." Mila shielded her eyes as the grove brightened even more and then dimmed to a soft, tranquil glow. Peridot, now a radiant bird, flew overhead. "Whenever you need a friend, Mila, just look to the skies," Peridot called before soaring into the treetops and disappearing from sight. Mila made her way back home, the night's bold adventure etched into her heart forever. Her room felt different now—warmer, as if filled with silent thank-yous.
