Los Tres Cerditos
Once upon a time, in a cozy yet slightly eerie edge of a deep, dark forest, three little pigs lived with their mother. It was time for them to make their own way in the world and build their own homes. With hugs and well-wishes, their mother sent them off, reminding them, "Always work hard and stay alert. The Big Bad Wolf is always lurking." The pigs set off together but soon parted ways, each determined to build a sturdy house. The first little pig, eager to enjoy his new freedom, quickly built a house of straw. It was cozy and warm, but not very strong. The second little pig, wanting to do a bit better, built his house out of sticks. It was a bit sturdier but still not very solid. The third little pig, the most diligent and thoughtful, decided to build his house out of bricks to ensure it was strong and safe. It wasn't long before the Big Bad Wolf, with his shifty eyes and sharp claws, caught wind of the new pig homes. He approached the first little pig's straw house, sniffing the air and licking his chops. He knocked on the door and said, "Little pig, little pig, let me come in!" The first little pig squeaked, "Not by the hair of my chinny chin chin!" "Then I'll huff, and I'll puff, and I'll blow your house in!" growled the wolf. With a mighty breath, the wolf blew the straw house away, and the first little pig scampered off to his brother's house of sticks. The wolf then turned his hungry eyes to the stick house. He knocked again, "Little pigs, little pigs, let me come in!" The two little pigs replied, "Not by the hair of our chinny chin chins!" "Then I'll huff, and I'll puff, and I'll blow your house in!" declared the wolf. With a fierce blow, the stick house splintered and collapsed. The two little pigs ran as fast as they could to their brother's brick house. When the wolf reached the sturdy brick house, he repeated his demand, "Little pigs, little pigs, let me come in!" But the three little pigs bravely chorused, "Not by the hair of our chinny chin chins!" The wolf snarled, "Then I'll huff, and I'll puff, and I'll blow your house in!" The wolf huffed and puffed with all his might, but the brick house stood firm and strong. Now, here's where the twist comes in. The clever third little pig had an idea. "Brothers, let's use the secret trapdoor I built!" he whispered. The pigs scurried down into a cleverly hidden underground passage that only they knew. They pulled a lever, and the fireplace above turned into a giant slide leading outside. The wolf, tired and exasperated from huffing and puffing, decided to climb down the chimney. But as he descended, the pigs sprang their plan into action. The fireplace transformed back, and the wolf found himself sliding out of the house and into a patch of prickly thorns! He yelped in surprise and pain. The wolf never dared to bother the three little pigs again, having learned a sharp lesson about underestimating their cleverness. The pigs lived happily ever after in their strong brick house, always ready for adventure and never afraid to use their wits. And so, the three brave little pigs taught a valuable lesson: It's wise to build strong foundations and to always use your brains and bravery to confront challenges. The end.
