I Wish You More
In a small, cozy town nestled between rolling hills and shimmering lakes, there stood a charming house with a bright blue door. Inside, little Ella lived in a bedroom filled with fascinating objects—a spinning globe, a jar of twinkling fireflies, and a rocketship mobile that gently swayed with the breeze.
One starry night, Ella sat by her window, hugging her soft bunny named Binks. The room was quiet and sleepy, but Ella felt a sense of magic in the air. Her grandmother’s voice echoed in her mind, filled with love and warmth—she had a habit of wishing special things for Ella.
Looking up at the night sky, Ella whispered, “I wonder what Grandma would wish for me tonight, Binks.”
Just then, a soft glow filled the room, and a small shuttered window on her bookshelf creaked open. A tiny, glowing fairy named Luna appeared, with sparkling wings and a mischievous smile.
“Hello, Ella,” Luna said, floating gently above a book. “I’ve come to grant wishes from your dear Grandma.”
Ella’s eyes widened with wonder. “Really? Tell me the wishes!”
Luna nodded and waved her wand, sprinkling the air with shimmering dust. “Grandma wishes you more sunny days than rainy ones, so you can play and explore.”
Ella’s heart leaped with happiness. “What else?”
Luna continued, “She wishes you more treasure hunts than lost toys, so you can find magical secrets everywhere you go.”
Ella giggled, imagining the adventures she could have. “Keep going, Luna!”
The fairy hovered closer. “She wishes you more hugs than could ever be counted, so you always feel warm and loved.”
Binks wiggled his ears as if he agreed. “And more stories at bedtime, because that’s when dreams start.”
Ella hugged Binks tighter, feeling cozy and cherished. “Anything more?”
Luna’s eyes twinkled. “Yes, Ella. Grandma wishes you more laughter than tears, more kindness than frowns, and more courage than fears.”
With each wish, the room seemed to glow brighter, filled with love and hope. Ella looked at Luna, feeling braver and ready for any adventure.
“Thank you, Luna. Tell Grandma I love her too!”
Luna smiled, sprinkling one last bit of fairy dust. “I will, Ella. And remember, these wishes are with you always.”
As Luna floated back into the tiny window and the room grew still again, Ella climbed into bed, holding Binks close. She closed her eyes, ready to dream of sunny days, treasure hunts, and every wonderful wish Grandma had sent her way.
Beneath the swaying rocketships and twinkling fireflies, Ella whispered softly, “I wish you more, Grandma.”
And with that, she drifted off to sleep, feeling the magic of those wishes tucked safely in her heart.
